Bristol Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014

Thanks to Western Eye I could assist to one of the 18 catwalks organized during the five days of fashion and styling for the Bristol Fashion Week at the Mall at Cribbs Causeway.

Just like her big sister London, Bristol's got a considerable fashion event, displaying the hottest seasonal style and must have wardrobe trends and colours.

The show was presented by TV stylist Mark Heyes and celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton. They offered many fashion tips, style advice and their good spirit.

If I had to sum up the Spring/Summer 2014 trend, I'll say that we can keep in mind 3 main styles for our future shopping sessions!
  • Pretty Pastel:

A rainbow of soft springtime shades reigned throughout the collections.
Now, you just have to pick your most-flattering colour from pink, green, coral ... and wear it with whatever silhouette flatters you.

  • Mixed Bunch:

Already seen last Spring, floral comes back this year. Floral is all about having fun with fashion and embracing the romance of spring.
But don't forget, the key with floral is bigger the print is, the bigger you look.... So, prefer ditsy designs!

  • Modern Monochrome:

Black & White or classics lines don't mean boring! Wether using abstract prints or just pairing one piece with another, the monochrome trend is the easiest to wear.
